The Inspiring story of Bisi, the Primary 5 school dropout who makes electronic appliances from scraps

Nigeria is endowed with many talents, stories like this one you are about to read will make you believe in a better future for Nigeria.

A primary 5 school dropout who creates electronic Fans and other appliances with waste materials and makes money from selling it.

Read the story of the Good Samaritan who recently encountered him in Ekiti state shared:
While in Otun-Ekiti a month ago, I met Bisi a young scientist, innovator and inventor. Bisi is from a poor family in Aiyegbaju-Ekiti, his mother operates a grounding machine and sells goods harvested from her farm. His father is a mechanic, he repairs motor cycles (Okada).
Where I sat at the ceremony I went for, I saw Bisi trying to call attention of people he believed could give him money by using his hand made fans to genarate cool breeze for them.

What drew my attention to him was the material he used to make the fans. The fans were made from Soap Case, Aluminum sheet, Wood, VijuMilk Containers, Plastic Pipe, Paper, Wire and other materials he picked around and assembled. The fans are operated with small tiger batteries and are perfectly working.

Later that day I spoke with Bisi mother who told us that Bisi is out of school. He stopped going to school in primary five and walks around the town picking materials for his hand inventions and take them to ceremonies to raise money for his poor mother. This is evidence in the fact that Bisi trekked from Aiyegbaju-Ekiti to Otun-Ekiti where myself and Ibukun met him.

Bisi is no doubt a child with so much potential and can be a great scientist and inventor in nearest future if given opportunity to go back to school.

Mimiko's Cabinet Members Defect To APC

Two cabinet members of the Ondo state government have defected to the All Progressive Congress, The Nation reports.
The state's Commissioner for Community Development and Cooperative Services Mrs Yetunde Adeyanju on Tuesday resigned her appointment and announced her defection. Giwa Rasheed, a special assistant to Governor Olusegun Mimiko, also resigned and defected to APC.
Following the defection Adeyanju said a great weight has been lifted off her shoulder as she's left a party where impunity reigns.
”In the last seven years, I have served in various executive capacities in the state. I started as executive chairman of Ondo State Waste Management Board, moved to head Ondo State Development Company Limited as executive chairman and finally, as commissioner in the Ministry of Community Development and Cooperative Services.
Wherever I served, I discharged my duties with utmost dedication and unassailable integrity; notwithstanding the culture of greed, avarice and absolute disregard for the masses.”
“It is, therefore my great pleasure to renounce my membership of PDP and announce my membership of APC.”

The Producer of "LAGOS MEN" Chioma Okoye brutalized because of the drama series.

Actress turned producer Chioma Okoye was attacked at her home on Saturday, August 13, by four ladies led by a woman who alleged the movie producer made a movie out of her life. The women allegedly threatened Chioma's life and promised to be back if she did not take down contents from her popular drama series "Lagos Men" currently making waves on her recently launched online platform. The drama series is said to be partly fictional and partly true life stories.
Below is how a source in the know explained the issue,
The woman and Chioma Okoye met three years ago through a mutual friend. The woman had been invited to Chioma Okoye's house for drinks and after a couple of shots opened up about the chaos in her marriage.
Exposing how her husband constantly sexually harasses her underaged daughter to the point of getting her pregnant at some point. The woman sought Chioma's help as an entertainer to expose her unrepentant husband's evil deeds as she was tired of fighting him over it.
Chioma had advised her to seek help from Child Protection Services but that as an entertainer would use her voice as an artiste to expose the deed. This happened in 2014. Chioma had gone ahead to write the story into her LAGOS MEN script.
Now the drama series is out and gathering momentum and that sparked rage from the woman who had probably moved on. Hence the attack.

Shortly after the physical attack on Chioma Okoye, she received a phone call from a supposed policeman from Ajah Police Station . On getting to Ajah Police Station, the Policeman who identified himself as Officer Chuks cajoled Chioma to take down the content of her drama series in exchange for the sum of 3M naira.
The woman is said to be on the run as Chioma has filed a case bothering on Threat to Life.

Sultan of Sokoto Accuses Christian of being very Wicked and Criminals.

Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar III has stated that putting on hijab is a right and not a privilege for Muslims across the nation.

The Sultan spoke in Benin City at the General Assembly and Executive National Council Meeting of the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA).
Abubakar said though Christians were not believed to be terrorists but they committed wicked crimes against humanity.

He, however, hailed the Pope for making a very strong statement defending Islam as a religion of peace.

On the hijab controversy, the Sultan said: “Hijab is our right not a privilege. It is not a favour to us. It is our right.
“And we hold on to the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria that guarantees freedom of worship.

“That is why we don’t disturb anybody who wants to go and worship the way he wants.”
He added: “Nigeria is a multi religious state, not a singular state. And being a multi-religious state, we must allow the various religions to go on but we must not trample on each other’s right, which means I must be allowed to practice my religion the way I believe as ordered me by the Holy Quran and nothing else.

“So when we get this done, the issue of hijab and so many other things affecting Islam, I believe is our right, not a privilege, unless the Constitution is changed.”
On bad elements in Islam, he said: “Those bad people among us, like in other religions, we should pick them out and teach them the tenets of Islam.
“If they refuse to change, that is their own problem. We will meet with the creator on the judgement day.

“In any society, there are many terribly bad people. So many, who are not Muslims but carry out criminal activities with some Muslim organisations in America, France and even in Nigeria.
“Those people doing negative things should be called criminals or terrorists but not Muslims.
“I’ve never heard of Christian terrorists but we have heard of so many Christians or followers of other religions who committed heinous crimes against humanity.
“But they didn’t claim to do it for their religions and we did not hold them against their religions.”

Usain Bolt's Mum Cry's out, begging his son to get married

You can get all the medals but your mama will still want you to get married. -Usain Bolt's  Mum
Usain Bolt's mom, Jennifer Bolt, is proud of her son but what she’s really interested in is having grandkids. Soon. “I would hope he’ll settle down, get married and start his family,” Jennifer Bolt told CNN’s Don Riddell in a segment that aired Saturday about what she hopes Bolt will do after the Olympics end.
“I know he’ll settle down because he has said it,” she said. “He told me many times that he’s going to start his family.” _
That’s true. Bolt, has expressed interest in marriage. But not anytime soon. “I’ve thought about it, but I know I’m not going to get married before 35, for sure,” 30-year-old Bolt told the Telegraph last month.
He said he doesn’t want to wind up like Wayne Rooney, the Manchester United forward who married his high school sweetheart in 2008 when he was 21 years old.
